From the strictly limited "Ball Family Reserve" edition of Music Man, the 4-string BFR StingRay Special HH Slugger Natural Satin electric bass now returns to the game in a limited edition. Its ash wood body with a pearlized non-glossy Natural Finish and high-quality matte black Hardware provides the classic baseball bat look and optimal playing comfort. A perfect all-round bass, which produces a flexible and expressive sound with double humbucker equipment and excellent tonewoods.

The Music Man BFR StingRay Special HH Slugger convinces combines an elegant look with excellent playing characteristics and a multi-faceted sound.
The roasted curly maple neck in a slim C-profile can be played easily up to the high registers thanks to the sculpted neck heel.

Bolt-On construction with premium tonewoods.

The BFR StingRay Special HH Slugger is equipped with a five-bolt C-profile neck made of roasted curly maple, which produces excellent playing characteristics in all positions thanks to a hand-rubbed oil-wax Finish. The Roasted Flame Maple fingerboard is rounded off by the virtually wear-free stainless steel fretboard in "High Profile, Wide" format. Furthermore, the ash wood body provides a colorful sound, with a characterful timbre.

Two neodymium humbuckers with 5-way coil select circuitry and the active 3-band tone control provide a versatile sound spectrum.

The versatility of the Music Man BFR StingRay Slugger electric bass is due to the versatile electronics. The rich sound spectrum is supported by the 5-way switch, with which the two powerful Music Man neodymium humbuckers can be called up in different combinations. Maximum headroom and attention to detail when precisely adjusting the tone is promised by the 18 volt powered 3-band tone control. From typical StingRay sound to authentic single coil simulation, no wish remains unfulfilled! A tasteful detail are also the potentiometer caps of the equalizer made of intensively drawn ebony.
