John Giblin Collection

During a stellar career spanning decades, John played bass for the likes of Kate Bush, Phil Collins, Sting, Simple Minds, Annie Lennox and many more, contributing bass lines to tracks such as Babooshka by Kate Bush, In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins and I Wish You Were Here by Simple Minds. As a studio bass player, John has hundreds of credits on groundbreaking albums, and is noted for his fine work with fretless and acoustic basses, and well known for his modification of instruments in pursuit of tone; he was a true pioneer of sound. John was a valued customer and a wonderful friend at the Gallery for many years, and we are proud to represent his collection.
