Simply connect it to your amplifier, add some headphones to the mix if you want, and away you go! The built-in pickup puts you in control over the volume and intonation that the instrument produces.

The EDB-3/4 DBR might not look like the double bass that you're used to, but it certainly does feel the same when you play it. The body and neck are made of maple for an earthy, natural sound. Furthermore, the headstock is equipped with P-style machine heads, so you can count on stable tuning. The active pickup is powered by a 9V battery, and you can even connect an audio device to the instrument via the mini jack so you can play along with your favourite songs!

On the side of the body you'll find volume and bass controls; the bass control can be used to adjust the amount of bass your hear in your mix, so you can optimally adjust it for your style.
