Fender Jazz 1962

Product Details

Fender 1962 slab-board Jazz Bass refinished by John at Bravewood Guitars. Was originally a Fiesta Red then was stripped and refinished to Lake Placid Blue so it's just been restored to it's original finish. You can see pictures and a description of the refin process on John's website It's otherwise original with pots dating to the 52nd week of 1961. The bass sounds absolutely fantastic. A truly wonderful example of an early 60s jazz bass. It's a good weight and plays really nicely with an even sound across the fingerboard. You can try this bass out at our shop in Camden
